Job Description
Medical Examination & Treatment:
- Provide medical consultation and treatment for common health issues among employees.
- Conduct pre-employment medical examinations in accordance with recruitment procedures.
- Perform periodic health check-ups and classify health status as required.
- Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, metabolic disorders, BMI, and diabetes.
- Assess health risks by department/group.
Emergency Response & Occupational Accidents:
- Manage the first aid team and first aid kits across workshops.
- Provide initial first aid treatment.
- Handle medical emergencies and occupational accidents.
- Support patient transfer to hospitals when necessary.
Clinical Examination & Diagnostics:
- Perform general physical examinations (cardiovascular, respiratory, abdominal).
- Interpret basic laboratory test results (CBC, biochemistry, urinalysis).
- Conduct and interpret basic electrocardiograms (ECG) (e.g., arrhythmia, suspected ischemia).
- Perform basic ultrasound examinations (abdomen, thyroid).
- Interpret X-ray results (bones, lungs).
Medical Administration & Management:
- Manage employees’ health records.
- Dispense and control medications in compliance with regulations.
- Organize periodic health check-up programs.
- Develop SOPs and prepare occupational health reports.
- Coordinate with authorities and healthcare partners when necessary.
Training & Health Promotion:
- Conduct internal first aid training.
- Organize training and drills on occupational safety, hygiene, and food safety.
- Provide health education and lifestyle counseling (nutrition, exercise, disease prevention).
- Participate in other health center programs and activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in General Medicine or Medical Assistant (Physician Assistant).
- Valid practicing certificate (medical license).
- Certification in Occupational Health.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Basic first aid and emergency care.
- Knowledge of chronic diseases and non-communicable disease (NCD) management.
- Understanding of occupational health and occupational diseases.
- Periodic health classification and assessment.
- Ability to interpret common laboratory test results.
- Ability to perform and interpret basic electrocardiograms (ECG) (e.g., arrhythmia, suspected myocardial ischemia).
- Certified in basic general ultrasound (abdomen, thyroid).
- Ability to interpret X-ray results.
- Proficient in using Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Ability to perform independent clinical examinations.
- Strong analytical and health risk assessment skills.
- Good communication and internal training skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Basic English communication skills.
