Job Description:
- Perform HR duties for section that under supervising.
- Working closely with QA Manager to create and update SOPs/ WIs for Production purposes.
- Working closely with QA Manager on existing SOPs/ WIs Audits, highlighting any Gaps.
- Working closely with QA Lab supervisor, on any required new testing, linked to standards.
- Completing required reports, in a timely manner, according to Task required completion date.
- Reviewing and approving SOP/WI reports before release.
- Carrying out Training, clear understanding, with relevant depts. on standards & SOPs/WIs.
- Make all clear on accepted criteria and tolerances, that production and QC can work to.
- Receiving complaint from customer, QA/QC audit, and supporting to find Root Cause, Action Plan.
- Propose improvements to enhance product quality.
- Train and support new QA team members on standards
- Help set veneer standards, for MCP/PCP, so all veneers are within an acceptable range.
- Other tasks assigned by QA Manager.
Requirements:
- University degree with a specialization in Engineering or Mechanical fields
- ISO 9001:2015 training is a plus
- Knowledge of wood industry standards such as FSC, ISO, ASTM, EN is a plus.
- At least 5 years in QA, with understanding on furniture standards
- At least 5 years of experience in the wood working industry
- Language: Good in English (communication, listening, writing: fluent)
- Hands-on, open-minded, proactive team player.
- Skill: Communication, Microsoft Office.
