Shipping Planner

Job Description:

  • Make Shipping plan
  • Follow goods; check containers status daily.
  • Work close with Production, PPC, Subcon Team to make sure the loading schedule is achievable.
  • Work with Material team to make sure have enough materials for production.
  • Work close with CS Team to confirm the ship date if the item on container is not match the confirm ship date.
  • Weekly update of new SD for RH/HB orders.
  • Work with EXIM/CS to get booking for container.
  • Prepare Loading schedule and Goods loaded list for each container to inform related department (EXIM, CS, WH) for next steps (Booking, Over CBM of container load, holding container due to lacking CBM, etc…).
  • Work closely with Finished goods warehouse and Import Export to arrange the loading & pull out container on time.
  • Making sure 1 item having many SO, must be allocated old SO/ accordingly with ship date to be first priority.
  • Swapping WO to priority for shipment.
  • Moving container on system.
  • Follow return items: Request Carcass take out for QC checking and repairing then ship back to customer.
  • Follow audit result before shipment.
  • All items stay in FGW over 9 months must be turned back to Carcass Division for checking before shipment.
  • Report any changes that affect to shipping plan to manager.
  • Checking email from related departments and response with accurate information at the right time.
  • Reports.
  • Other tasks assigned by Manager.

Requirements: 

  • University/ college graduated required.
  • Ages 25-40.
  • Good knowledge in Production Planning.
  • Knowledgeable about furniture making processes; At least 2 years working as Production Planning, preferably in furniture but other manufacturing industries considered.
  • Previous experience of working in manufacturing company with over 1,000 employees.

   Skills and other abilities. 

  • Good verbal and written communication skill in both Vietnamese and English is essential.
  • Has ability to work to deadlines and can work under high pressure.
  • Planning & Organizing, Problem Solving & Decision Making, Communication skill, Negotiation skill and Continual Self-Learning.
