Job Description
- Work with Production Planner and Production Supervisor to monitor daily actual status and ensure daily and weekly output.
- Remind Production Planner, Production Supervisor and Team Leaders of priority items to meet committed completion dates.
- Analyze production bottlenecks and report to PPC Supervisor/Manager to coordinate solutions with Production Manager.
- Propose solutions such as multi-skilling, manpower transfer, overtime, or subcontracting when required.
- Monitor and follow up production schedules and inform PPC Supervisor/Manager and Shipping Planner of any issues affecting schedules.
- Ensure production activities are on track according to the approved schedule.
- Update and maintain accurate schedules in the system without overdue or incorrect timelines.
- Coordinate with Order Controller and Shipping Planner to ensure sufficient input for production.
- Work with Material Planner to ensure material availability for production.
- Coordinate closely with Warehouse to supply components, materials, and ITW items to production.
- Work closely with relevant departments to support repair of items or components.
- Coordinate with QC and Production to identify causes of delays or potential delays.
- Work with Technical and QC teams to find quick solutions and prevent recurring issues.
- Follow up production KPIs including output targets and on-time delivery.
- Prepare reports accurately and on time.
- In emergency cases, update and report immediately to Supervisor or Manager for prompt resolution.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Good knowledge of furniture production processes
- Strong planning, organizing and controlling skills
- Good communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under high pressure
- Willingness to work overtime when required
