Job Description
- Create design drawings for approved samples during the sample making process.
- Receive design information from Team Leader, R&D Design Assistant, and R&D Manager.
- Research design details to develop accurate technical drawings.
- Collaborate with the design team to clarify customer requirements, construction methods, substructures and standards.
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings for indoor and outdoor furniture designs.
- Handover completed design drawings to related departments.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from Team Leader, R&D Design Assistant, or R&D Manager.
- Build 3D models using Inventor or 3D MAX when required.
- Convert drawings to PDF format and submit to the Customer Service department.
- Print drawings (A3, A0) for delivery to sample workshops and technical sample teams.
- Follow up the sample making process and participate in sample handover meetings.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the R&D Manager.
Requirements
- Professional training or at least 2 years of experience in a related industry
- Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D MAX, Inventor or similar design software
- Good computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong work ethic and positive working attitude
- Basic English communication skills
- Positive, dynamic and creative mindset
