Job Description
- Plan, implement and control employment plan, headcount and labor cost within budget.
- Develop and review standard recruitment practices.
- Interview candidates and involve in decision-making for hiring first-level management and below.
- Plan actions to improve recruitment efficiency.
- Develop, review and interpret HR policies, procedures, internal rules and regulations.
- Guide teams to ensure legal compliance and consistent implementation of HR policies.
- Recommend employee relations practices to maintain a positive employer–employee relationship.
- Serve as secondary contact point with local labor authorities and labor unions.
- Plan and organize employee satisfaction and engagement surveys.
- Conduct exit interviews to analyze employee turnover reasons.
- Communicate and enhance employee awareness of company vision, mission, values, business and policy updates.
- Plan, review and approve content of newsletters and internal communications.
- Conduct training needs analysis and identify training programs for performance and talent development.
- Plan and review training programs, schedules and budgets.
- Develop and review induction programs for new employees.
- Develop and deliver initiatives to promote company core values and culture.
- Act as internal HR trainer for non-HR managers.
- Develop career paths, job levels and competency frameworks.
- Develop and review talent assessment and promotion processes.
- Develop and calibrate performance management processes including KPIs and appraisal timelines.
- Guide management in effective performance management implementation.
- Monitor and review employee performance.
- Recommend KPIs for departments and support line managers in KPI setting.
- Ensure labor rates are regularly updated and maintained in ERP.
- Review payroll and personal income tax calculations for accuracy.
- Provide management with best practices and recommendations on compensation and benefits.
- Manage general administration operations including legal documents, logistics, facilities, services and expenses.
- Plan, organize and control departmental resources to achieve department goals.
- Develop and maintain HR handbooks, SOPs, work instructions and standards.
- Hire, lead, train and develop team members to maximize performance.
- Set, review and manage team and individual KPIs.
- Recommend and control departmental budgets.
- Work with IT to develop HR databases, systems and applications.
- Identify HR operational challenges and lead improvement projects.
- Collaborate with management and staff at all levels to resolve HR issues.
- Build a collaborative, innovative and efficient working culture within the department.
- Prepare analytical reports on department operations and performance.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proven HR leadership experience in manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese labor laws and HR best practices
- Excellent organizational and execution skills
- Strong communication, presentation and persuasion skills
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese, both written and spoken
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems
- Natural leadership and strong people management skills
- Creative thinking, flexibility and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and make critical decisions
- Long-term commitment and strong results orientation
