Job Description:
-
To assist HSE supervisor in implementing occupational health, labor safety and environment improvement plan to eliminate danger risks and ensure work conditions at workplace complying with labor safety and environment legislation.

To work with authority related in checking and measuring work environment in the whole factory in a yearly basis.

To work with maintenance to inspect and assess the safety for machines (earth connection and emergency stop system) on production floors in a quarterly basis.

To inspect and assess the condition of all fire fighting equipments in the whole factory twice a month.
-
Regularly survey and analyze occupational accident and fire risks at the workplace, propose preventive measures, and monitor and ensure that preventive measures are implemented fully and within the prescribed time limit.

To work with production supervisor and clinic in investigating causes of accidents and recommend corrective/preventative actions to prevent risk of occurrence and ensure that all approved action plans are implemented properly and on time.

To work with Employee Relation Officer in giving discipline action to those who violates safety regulations at the workplace.

Every 6 months, coordinate with security forces, medical department and local fire police to conduct fire prevention and fighting drills and employee evacuation drills in case of emergency.

To work with department heads to in preparing and posting up safety regulations, guidances and warnings to ensure providing all necessary information about labor safety at workplaces.

To do induction training of safety for new workers.

To check containers of chemical and hazardous collection in factory.

To check safety parts of machines and equipment.
-
To check FF system in factory (fire pump, hose, nozzles, cabinet and hydrant).

To check wastewater collection and treatment systems.

To prepare labor accident report (monthly/ quarterly and every 6 month) and other necessary reports required by Health and Safety Officer.

To give contribution on safety to company Newsletter.

Other tasks as required.
Requirements:

Education and Training
Academic or professionally trained about safety. -
Experience and Qualification
At least 2 year experience in the same position. Experience in wood industry is preferred. -

Good in communication skill in both Vietnamese and English skills.
