Material Planner

Job Description:
– Make material plan according to production plan:
• When receive a SO to release draft WO, Materials Planner should then create the Materials Report (Volume) base on BOM and materials non-allocated quantity (special is veneer and woods).
• When release draft WO, COM1 materials should be orderred.
• When receive the Carcass WO, Carcass materials should be arrange to ordered.
• When COM1/COM2 or Carcass complete the item.
• Materials Planner will then close the WO to release the materials allocation and clear the Outstanding for each division (COM1/COM2/CAR).
– Make Material Forcast, Material Monthly Plan, there are 2 exhibitions in a year (Oct and Apr), Materials Planner will then make the forecast materials report base on the potential item can be sold, then get BOD approval to order in advance (special is veneer and woods).
– Working with expeditor and production (COM1/COM2/Carcass) to know the daily actual status of production and scheduling material delivery.
– Combining all above information to determine quantity to purchase & logical delivery schedule in order to save the capital, ordering cost, inventory holding cost & warehouse space.
– Following all material delivery from issue PR to receive.
– Daily working with Purchasing team to solve the materials late delivery, materials potential late to get it delivery on time.
– Other tasks assigned by manager (if have).

Requirements:
– University graduated required.
– At least 03 year experience in a similar position, previous experience of working in manufacturing company with over 1,000 employees, furniture industry is a plus.
– Knowledgeable about furniture making processes.
– Good  management skill (Planning, Organizing, Problem Solving, Communication skill, Negotiation skill and Continual Self-Learning).
– Professional working manner and attitude, confident.
– An honest and diligent character and be devoted to work.
– Reliable, accurate and hard working.
– Can work under high pressure.
